Privacy Policy

legal · updated july 2026

The Phase Method respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy describes what we collect, who processes it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you interact with The Phase Method, we may collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Account information for the member library
  • Purchase information, such as which product you bought and when
  • Information you voluntarily provide through forms, surveys, or email

Payment card details are collected and processed entirely by our payment provider. The Phase Method never sees or stores your card information.

How We Use Your Information

  • Deliver purchased products and unlock the correct guides in your member library
  • Provide account access and send account-related communications
  • Deliver free guides, newsletters, and educational content you have requested
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve our website, products, and customer experience

We do not sell your personal information.

The Services That Process Your Data

We rely on a small set of trusted providers, each with a specific job:

  • Lemon Squeezy is our payment processor and merchant of record. It handles checkout, payment, receipts, and sales tax, and holds your purchase and billing records.
  • Outseta manages member accounts, login, and access to the paid library.
  • Kit manages our email list, delivers free guides, and sends newsletters if you subscribe.
  • Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the system that connects a purchase to your member account. As part of that system, the email address on an order may be held briefly and is automatically deleted within 30 days.
  • Pinterest provides the advertising and conversion-measurement tag described in the cookies section, which tells us which pins lead to signups and purchases.

Each provider processes information only as needed to perform its service, under its own privacy policy and security practices.

Cookies

This site uses strictly necessary cookies, the ones required to keep you logged in to your member library and to complete checkout. We also use the Pinterest Tag, an advertising and conversion-measurement tool that sets cookies and tells us which pins bring people to the site and which visits lead to a signup or a purchase. It records page visits, free-guide signups, and completed purchases. We do not send Pinterest your name, your email address, or anything you enter into a calculator or form on this site. Our hosting provider also gives us aggregate traffic statistics that do not use cookies or identify individual visitors. You can limit ad personalisation in your Pinterest account settings, and browser settings or tracking-prevention features will also block this tag. If we add further tools that use cookies for analytics or marketing, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Data Retention

Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Temporary purchase records used to unlock your library access are deleted within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls at each of our providers. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws, and we will honor verified requests accordingly.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page.
